Abstract
A series of six geotechnical test-pits was dug along the line of the proposed Witney-Cogges Link Road on 13.09.1994. No archaeological features were found but the presence of an Iron Age pottery sherd and possible worked flint in TP5 are indicative for potential late prehistoric activity in the area.
