Abstract
An archaeological assessment was carried out at Mill Road North, Burgfield by Oxford Archaeological Unit on behlaf of Amey Roadstone Corporation. 85% of the site lay in the area of the floodplan and an alluvial sequence of 2m in depth was revealed. Only one archaeological feature was revealed being an undated pit.
