Abstract
During November 2005, Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out a field evaluation on land south-east of Vale Park, Evesham, Worcestershire (NGR SP 0419 4157). The evaluation revealed Roman and undated ditches to the south and ridge and furrow to the north-west of the proposed development site. The Roman pottery recovered from features was mostly local Severn Valley ware with a sherd of Samian. The
remaining pottery from top / sub soil was ost-medieval.
Between the 12th and 21st of November 2007 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out an archaeological excavation at Vale Park West, Evesham, Worcestershire on behalf of LaSalle UK Ventures Property UK1 Limited. The excavation revealed a series of furrows that cut what appeared to be Romano-British field or drainage system, as well as the base of an undated pit.
