Abstract
Following assessment of four environmental bulk samples from Hilary Breck by OA North in 2011, recommendations were made for analysis of the charred plant remains and charcoal. Given the extremely rish assemblages and the clear potential for investigating husbandry practices and associated fuel use, OA North was commissioned in June 2012 to carry out further processing and analysis of the samples.
