Abstract
OA East (formerly Cambridgeshire County Council's CAM ARC) conducted an archaeological evaluation on land at Girton College, Cambridge in early September 2008. The investigation consisted of 5 trenches, 45m in total length, within the proposed redevelopment area of a new sports pavilion adjacent to the Girton College playing fields with an associated access road. Archaeology was recorded within Trench 3 only which consisted of a small pit which, despite, 100% excavation, remains undated.
