Abstract
In December 2007 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out a field
evaluation at Land off Cedar Road, Eglwys Brewis, Glamorgan (NGR ST 0059 6940) on behalf of Paddle Ltd. The work was in advance of a new housing development. The evaluation revealed undated boundary ditches that may have formed part of a Roman, medieval, or later field system.
The ditches were overlain by a buried cultivation soil, and modern landscaping was revealed in the northern part of the site.
