Abstract
In September 2010 Oxford Archaeology undertook an archaeological watching brief
during construction ground works at Olga Mowforth House, Folly Orchard Road,
Woodcote (NGR: SU 643 820) on behalf of Builders Ede Ltd. The watching brief
followed an evaluation of the site that had not encountered any significant
archaeological remains. Observation of the foundation excavation for Building 3
identified a single modern pit infilled with building debris and confirmed the absence
of archaeological remains within this part of the development that was not
previously accessible during the evaluation phase.
