Abstract
Oxford Archaeology undertook an evaluation within the former farm yard area of
Weald Manor Farm, Bampton, in March 2016. Three trenches were excavated. No
archaeological deposits or features were present. Contamination that had stained
the clayey geology was evident within each trench. This related to the use of the
former farm buildings. A modern ditch and pit were recorded in Trenches 1 and 3.
