Abstract
A watching brief was made on a 6 km route of a pipeline through Oxon, Wiltshire & Gloucestershire. At the Waterway's to Leaze Farm boundary section some Roman pottery and a modern pit were found. At the Langford Road to Langford Brook drain section there were a series of furrows interpreted as Mdieval in date. Ditches and gullies in the Brookes Drain to Broughton Poggs stretch indicated Iron Age and Roman presence.
