Abstract
In September 2016 an archaeological evaluation was carried out on land, proposed for a cemetery extension, within Waterbeach Barracks and Airfield, to the west of the existing cemetery. Three trenches were excavated across the site and these revealed that a large part of the site, perhaps 1/3, has been disturbed by modern intrusions. Additionally three furrows and a possible single post hole were identified.
