Abstract
In November 2003 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out an archaeological watching brief at land adjacent to 2 Stratford Rd, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire (NGR SP 6985 3417). The work was commissioned by Mr. J.K. Halford in advance of the construction of a new dwelling on the site. The watching brief revealed tow layers of cultivated soils, which had been cut by a 19th century foundation trench.
