Abstract
On the 15th December 2004 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out an archaeological watching brief at St. Mary the Virgin's Church, Pistone, Buckinghamshire (NGR SP 942 149). The work was commissioned by The Church Conservation Trust in advance of the installation of a new French drain and renovation works in the church. The watching brief revealed a number of graves and an in-filled window in the chancel.
