Abstract
In July 2004 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out a field evaluation on land to the the rear of 28/28a Cricklade Street, Cirencester, Gloucestershire on behalf of CgMs Consulting. The evaluation revealed extensive post-medieval made ground and a dry stone wall overlying evidence od medieval occupation layers. Both of which were probably associated with the robbing of earlier Roman-British structural remains.
