Abstract

Between the 14th and the 18th of November 2016 Oxford Archaeology East
undertook a historic buildings survey at Manor Farm, The Street, Gazeley in Suffolk.
The survey concentrated on buildings located within the Manor Farm courtyard and
was carried out in advance of the proposed development of three domestic
dwellings. The historic buildings survey found buildings that were constructed in the
nineteenth century and laid out in the then fashionable model farm plan. Some
building ranges had been demolished and those that remained were altered in the
late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
