Abstract
A watching brief on drilling pits was carried out at Barking Tye, Suffolk prior to the laying of a water main. The fieldwork took place the 14th and 18th of March 2016. Sixteen test pits were excavated in total along the route of the proposed pipeline.
No archaeological remains were encountered in any of the test pits.
