Abstract
Between September and November 2009, Oxford Archaeology (OA)
carried out an archaeological watching brief at 16 School Lane, Stadhampton, Oxfordshire (NGR: SU 6004 9861). The work was commissioned by Mr R Campbell in advance of the construction of new extensions to the side and rear of the property. The watching brief revealed evidence of extensive small scale gravel extraction, probably post-medieval in date. No other significant archaeology was observed.
