Abstract
On the 14th of June 2017 Oxford Archaeology East carried out an archaeological evaluation at No. 36 Fen Lane, Sawtry, Cambridgeshire. A single 11m-long trench was excavated on the site of a proposed new semi-detached house. The trench revealed a shallow, east-to-west aligned ditch that is undated, along with a modern rubbish pit.
