Abstract
In October 2001, OA carried out field evaluation at Marston Road. The evaluation revealed a series of naturally formed colluvial and alluvial layers to a depth of over 1m. These deposits had been truncated in places by terracing probably when recently demolished building on the site were constructed. The remains of a modern farm structure (probably dated to 19th century) were observed in one of the trenches. No artefacts were recovered and no deposits of archaeological significance were encountered.
