Abstract
In February 2003 OA carried out an archaeological watching brief at Forbury Gardens, Reading. The watching brief revealed part of a semi-circular ditch feature that appears on a 17th century map of Reading that may represent the limit of a walled garden or orchard at this time. Limited evidence relating to demolition activity at the Abbey was also recorded.
