Abstract
Five machine dug and four hand dug test pits were excavated at Twyford Abbey to provide information on the likely impact of development on below ground archaeological deposits. No significant archaeological deposits were encountered but some sherds of Saxon or prehistoric pottery were recovered from a garden soil.
