Abstract

A grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund has enabled Greenwich Borough Council to proceed with a comprehensive repair and restoration programme at Well Hall Pleasance, Eltham, a Registered Park and Garden. The main project was managed by Scott Wilson Resource Consultants, and works on the moat island were managed by Greenwich Borough Council. An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by OA between May 2001 and June 2002 on behalf of Scott Wilson Resource Consultants and Greenwich Borough Council
