Abstract
Between 14th-19th December, 1992, Cambridgeshire Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation on land to the north of Eye High street, Cambridgeshire, adjacent to the fen edge. The work was commissioned by Peterborough City Council in advance of the planning of housing construction on the site.
Three prehistoric pits, a ditch and several modern features were recorded in the southern half of the site. The lower, northern end, proved to be waterlogged and left after initial machining.
