Abstract
Monitoring work was undertaken between 30th June and 28th August 1997 in advance of proposed development at Manor Farm, Sawtry. No surviving archaeological deposits were recorded within the development area. This was likely due to truncation caused by the construction of the farm buildings that previously occupied this site and the limited depth to which the foundation trenches for the new buildings were excavated.
