Abstract
On the 5th March 1998 a series of foundation trenches were excavated within the grounds of The Red Lion Public House (TL 5125 7457), prior to the construction of additional bedrooms and associated car parking. During the monitoring of the excavation of these trenches by the Archaeological Field Unit of Cambridgeshire County Council no archaeological features were observed.
