Abstract
OA have carried out a programme of archaeological recording at Hayley Green Farm, Warfield, Berkshire on behalf of Steve Watt. The work consisted of building recording undertaken on a barn and a field evaluation undertaken on an adjacent site prior to its development. The evaluation revealed undated tree-throw holes, a former plough soil and made ground. The building recording confirmed that the barn was largely of a single phase with little reused timber and a dendrochronological analysis of several timber samples showed that the barn was probably constructed in the third quarter of the 15th century.
