Abstract

From April 2003 to August 2004 OA carried out an archaeological watching brief at The Norman Hall, 9 Church Street, Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire. The work was commissioned by Quentin Hoodless in advance of the construction of new garages and swimming pool. The watching brief revealed a number of rubbish pits relating to the occupation of Norman Hall and its associated farm buildings. A few probably residual prehistoric flints were recovered from these features.
