Abstract
Instructed by Oxford Architects on behalf of the St Nicholas Parochial Church Council Oxford Archaeology carried out an excavation at St Nicholas Church, Forest Hill, Oxfordshire prior to the construction of a new vestry on the north side of the church. The excavation revealed 23 burials from the late 18th to early 19th century. All except a newborn baby were buried in coffins with metal fittings.
