Abstract
On the 7th and 8th March 2019, Oxford Archaeology undertook a trial trench
evaluation at St James’ School, Beauchamp Lane, Oxford. The works
comprised the excavation of one trench measuring 6m by 1m and a trench
measuring 1.5m by 1.5m
The trenches exposed four undated pits and part of an undated mortar
surface, overlain by a series of post-medieval leveling deposits.
