Abstract
In 2007 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out an archaeological watching
brief at Derwent House, Little Chester, Derby, Derbyshire (NGR SK
35222 37543) The work was commissioned by the Environment Agency in
advance of construction of a temporary flood defence wall. The watching
brief revealed a number of archaeological deposits and features from the
Roman period to the post-medieval period.
