Abstract
On the 13th October 2000, an Archaeological Monitoring and Recording Brief was undertake at Ambruy Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (TL 5239 2722). The work consisted of observation during the excavation of five geo-technical test pits in advance of the proposed development of housing within the subject site. No archaeological features at all were encountered in any of these test pits. However, based on documentary and topographical information the archaeological potential of the subject site remains high.
