Abstract
Between April 2003 and July 2004 the Archaeological Field Unit of Cambridgeshire County Council undertook a range of archaeological surveys and studies at Abbey Fields, Thorney, Peterborough on behalf of Mr M Sly. These included a desk-based assessment, and earthworks survey, ecological survey and conditions survey. The purpose of the project was to inform a restoration management plan in preparation of a Countryside Stewardship Application.
This document is the Interim Report as requested by the Brief supplied by DEFRA.
