Abstract
During January 2005 the Cambridgeshire County Council Archaeological Field Unit was called on to carry out an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching in advance of the construction of a small residential development. This archaeological investigation revealed a brief period of medieval occupation in the 13-th-14th century, characterised by structural features at the street frontage and a ditch marking the rear of the plot. Occupation seems to have ceased after the 14th century until the 17th or 18th century when activity starts again, characterised by ditches, postholes and pits.
