Abstract
In June and July 2002 Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out an archaeological watching brief at Priory Farm, Balscote, Banbury, Oxfordhire (NGR SU71358057). The work was commissioned by Michael Robarts in advance of the construction of a new tennis court and swimming pool. The watching brief revealed an undated stone-lined well which had been filled in during the late 19th century during alterations and improvements to the farmyard.
