Abstract
Oxford archaeology (OA) carried out a field evaluation at Brome Place and Fettiplace Road, Barton, Oxford, on behlaf of Lovell. The evaluation revealed a large amount of modern building debris throughout the site, overlying Oxford Clay. Several of the trenches were unable to be fully excavated due to the discovery of a number of gas pipes throughout the site. No significant archaeology was observed during the course of the evaluation.
