Abstract
Oxford Archaeology were appointed by Walsingham Planning to conduct an
archaeological evaluation, comprising ten trenches, at Terriers Farm, High
Wycombe, Buckinghamshire,Terriers Farm, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
in advance of a planning application for a proposed residential development.
The evaluation identified a small pit with evidence of burning, which produce
pottery dated to the prehistoric period. Two ditches were also identified
interpreted as late medieval or post-medieval field boundaries and drainage
features.
The archaeological evaluation was conducted over the course of three days
between the 28th and 30th November 2020.
