Abstract
Interim report; excavations by Oxford Archaeology on land opposite Windmill Banks, higham Ferrers revealed Saxon, medieval and post-medieval occupation and activity. The most significant features were a Middle Saxon enclosure ditch, a late Saxon sunken featured building and the remnants of a fifteenth century pottery kiln.
