Abstract
Oxford Archaeology (OA) has been commissioned by LDA Design on behalf of
Cherwell District Council to prepare an assessment of the historical significance of
Salt Way, which runs along the south side of Banbury. The assessment is intended to
inform planning decisions relating to residential development on land adjoining the
Salt Way
