Abstract
An archaeological investigation was undertaken at the Broad Lane Works, Broad Lane, Cottenham (TL 4493 6829) on the 1st and 21st of November 1996 by the Archaeological Field Unit (AFU) of Cambridgeshire County Council. The development comprised the construction of a warehouse extension and car parking.
No archaeological finds or features were identified, either in the two trial trenches or in the new building's foundation trench.
