Abstract
Oxford Archaeology North (OA North) was commissioned by Jarvis Construction UK
Ltd to undertake an archaeological excavation between June and August 2003 on land
to the south of Barker House Farm, Lancaster University, Lancaster, Lancashire
(centred at SD 4836 5694) in advance of the development of Lancaster University’s
South West Campus access road. The excavation was undertaken in advance of the
determination of a planning application by Lancaster City Council.
