Abstract
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the former Streamline Garage site, King
Street, Lancaster (SD 4767 6133). The work was carried out by Lancaster University
Archaeological Unit (LUAU) on behalf of BSF Planning Consultants. The work
comprised a desk-based study, compiling data from the Lancashire Sites and Monuments
Record, the Lancashire County Record Office and Lancaster City Museum, followed by a
rapid field inspection of the site.
