Abstract
In May and June 2000 OAU undertook a watching brief during construction work at 64/65 High Street, Wallingford. A charnel pit, containing remains from a miniumum of 45 individuals was found. It is possible that these individuals were originally interred, and later removed, from the Benedictine Priory of the Holy Trinity or that they are part of the known Saxon cenetery in Wallingford but no dating evidence was found.
