Abstract

Oxford Archaeology was commissioned by EDP Ltd on behalf of Descram
Holdings Ltd to undertake a trial trench evaluation of a land adjacent to Orchard
Industrial Estate, Toddington. The work comprised the exaction of nine trenches
and was undertaken between the 14th and 17th November 2022.
The trial trenching revealed a single undated pit in Trench 2. No significant
remains were recorded, and all other features revealed were considered to be
agricultural in origin
