Abstract
In November and December 2006, Oxford Archaeology (OA) carried out
a field evaluation at Folly Farm, Faringdon, Oxfordshire (centred on SU
2930 9505). The work was undertaken on behalf of Bloor Homes and
Wicklesham Commercial Properties in advance of a proposed mixed used
development comprising residential and business units and leisure
facilities.
The evaluation revealed little evidence for significant archaeological
features or deposits with the exception of one undated possible ditch.
Some evidence for 19th and 20th century landfill was also identified.
