Abstract
Excavations by Oxford Archaeology on the site of the former
Chamberlains Factory at North End, Higham Ferrers revealed Saxon,
medieval and post-medieval occupation and activity. Among the most
significant features were a possible mid-Saxon hall and a late medieval
pottery kiln with associated buildings.
