Abstract
In March 2023, Oxford Archaeology undertook a trial trench evaluation at the
site of a proposed residential development.
The works comprised the excavation of 17 trenches measuring 30m by 1.8m. No
archaeological features or deposits were identified. Evidence of isolated areas
of modern truncation were noted in the south-west and centre of the site.
The results of the evaluation suggest the site has little to no archaeological
potential.
