Abstract
A ditch of medieval date and a further undated ditch were observed during the course of this watching brief in Hampton Poyle, Oxfordshire. Two possible pits of unknown
date were also observed during construction work for a new building. The dated ditch may be associated with a property within the shrunken medieval village of Hampton Poyle, although no structural remains were observed.
