Abstract
The Oxford Archaeological Unit undertook a field evaluation on the site of the former Jopinery Works at 77 Temple Road, Cowley, Oxford between September 1st and 6th 1993. Three trenches were opened and revealed evidence for post-medieval cottages and a possible Roman pottery kiln stoke hole.
