Abstract
An evaluation was carried out at School Lane, Manea, Grid ref TL 4753 8996. The evaluation consisted of two trenches located within the proposed development area. The trenches revealed ditches which are likeley to be associated with drainage, the back fill of which are of Post-Medieval date, the ditches would also have acted as boundaries at the edge of Manea itself
