Abstract
In July 2004 Oxford Archaeology carried out a field evaluation at land at Pantiles, Portway, Wantage, Oxfordshire.(centered on NGR SU 39720 87674) for the CgMs Consulting on behalf of McCarthy & Stone (Developments) Ltd. The evaluation revealed a 19th-20th century soak-away, 19th & 20th century pottery and tile from topsoil soil layers and evidence of modern disturbance. No significant archaeology was revealed during the evaluation.
