Abstract
In May 1994 the Oxford Archaeological Unit (OAU) conducted an evaluation on a site S of St Cross churchyard. Evidence was found of medieval and post-medieval pits close to
St Cross Road, and medieval quarry pits and Early Modern landfill further to the E.
